We want our children to leave our Early Years rooms as open minded, independent, respectful, resilient, active, creative and forward thinking individuals. We hope they are well prepared for the next part of their learning journey and are year 1 ready.
We believe that parents and carers are the most important people in their children’s lives. The closer our links with parents and carers the more effective learning becomes for our children. This is why we endeavour to work closely with you to give your child the best possible start on their educational journey.
Children start their journey through the Early Years with us in our Nursery. We are a full-time Nursery offering full-time and part-time provision (including lunchtime provision) for a maximum of 26 children in each session.
The children in our nursery rooms have access to bright, spacious, well equipped indoor areas as well as their own large outdoor spaces full equipment for their own stages of development.

NEW FOR SEPTEMBER 2025 : Our 2 year old room: children are supported by a team of experienced nursery assistants who guide them through their very early stages of development. With a focus on creating a stimulating and secure environment, the children have access to bright, spacious indoor areas and ample outdoor spaces where they can explore and learn through play.
In the 3 year old room, our preschoolers are led by an experienced Nursery Manager and skilled SYFS trained staff. Together, they provide a high level of support tailored to each child’s needs, while also preparing them for the transition into school. The space is designed to foster creativity, curiosity, and social development, ensuring that every child receives the best possible start to their educational journey.
We follow The Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum which ensures that we provide a high standard of education and care in the early years as well as support children’s development. The framework includes ‘The Characteristics of Effective Learning’ which are fundamental to our practice as they detail the ways in which children should be learning from their environment, experiences and activities.
We plan and guide children’s learning by reflecting on the different ways that individual children learn and ensure the environment, activities and experiences match these unique needs. Learning in the EYFS is playing and exploring, being active, and through creative and critical thinking which takes place both indoors and outside.
